The role: 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Development Representative to support our growing sales team. This is a dynamic opportunity to gain firsthand experience in all aspects of sales, networking, and the tech industry. In this role, you’ll play an integral part in establishing new opportunities through consistent research, engage with potential clients from top startups and global enterprises, and maintain expert knowledge of VentureDevs’ product and solution offerings. You’ll work closely alongside our Business Development Manager to create and execute strategies that close deals, such as tracking and targeting leads, creative outreach and follow up, and qualifying opportunities.

Main responsibilities: 

  • Schedule meetings for Business Development Managers with qualified leads 
  • Follow up with leads and opportunities on behalf of BD & tech sales team to drive opportunities through the pipeline
  • Consistently and accurately update the CRM 
  • Research companies and high-level contacts through lead gen databases for warm and cold outreach initiatives
  • Craft, test, and execute outreach for our services via email, social media, phone calls, and other outlets
  • Engage and qualify inbound leads and inquiries
  • Use Key Performance Indicators, such as meeting acceptance rate, to accurately measure your progress towards targeted goals
  • Field qualification calls and identify clients’ key business objectives and challenges
  • Attend conferences and events and help host VD events that develop new relationships

We expect you to have:

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in a sales, administrative, or client-facing role
  • Strong written, listening, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and a high attention to detail
  • A persistent desire to learn, grow and excel within a fast-paced environment
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as a team player
  • Professional and engaging presentation skills, whether in-person, on the phone or via video conferencing
  • Familiarity with a CRM or sales automation software preferred
