Business Development Manager

We are a diverse team of creative collaborators with ambitious growth goals (we more than tripled our growth this year alone) and are searching for a Business Development Manager to join the LA squad. The perfect candidate is focused on quality, not quantity, and takes a creative approach to business development. As the 'face of VentureDevs' you will help us generate new business by developing meaningful and lasting relationships with strategic partners and key accounts. We work with some of LA's fastest growing companies, and this is the perfect opportunity for someone ready and eager to make a huge impact on our future growth.

This position is primarily remote, but we meet twice weekly to collaborate, strategize, create, and of course, eat good food!

Main responsibilities:

  • Actively seek out and build relationships with strategic partners within industry focus
  • Attend conferences and events, host dinners, lunches, etc. to develop and nurture partnerships
  • Build meaningful relationships with partners who can help us and who you can help in return
  • Qualify client opportunities and identify their key business objectives and challenges
  • Work with the tech solutions team to drive opportunities through the sales pipeline
  • Manage an accurate forecast
  • Consistently and accurately update the CRM
  • Strategize cross-functionally with teams across the company to continuously align initiatives


  • 3+ years experience working in a business development, consultant, or equivalent role
  • Past experience working at a B2B software company or B2B service-based company strongly preferred
  • Understanding of product development and experience working with technology teams strongly preferred
  • Experience developing trusted relationships with C-level individuals
  • Proven track record of success generating referral based leads
  • Strong time management, organization, and planning skills
  • Focused on creating long-term, value driven relationships

  • Proficiency managing a sales pipeline in a CRM software
