Account Manager

Main Responsibilities:

  • Guide new clients through onboarding and project set-up
  • Nurture relationships with existing clients
  • Grow our client accounts by upselling services
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all clients (outside of Product Owner)
  • Manage day-to-day client communication, identify risks and proactively problem solve
  • Make sure client needs are being met at all times and all projects are adhering to VentureDevs customer success standards
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure we always provide clients with the best solutions to help them achieve their goals
  • Collaborate with department heads on how to improve our services across accounts
  • Organize and execute recurring strategy calls with clients and VentureDevs executives
  • Hold account-wide weekly meetings and generate weekly account health-check reports
  • Facilitate monthly client review meetings and generate a status update for the client
  • Work with the team allocation manager to successfully execute on existing account resource change requests
  • Educate clients on VentureDevs policies and reinforce such policies when needed
  • Manage the CRM to maintain a clear visual of all ongoing upsell opportunities
  • Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure all invoices are accurate and paid on time
  • Keep all project documentation and project management systems updated at all times

What you will bring:

  • 2-4 years in a customer-facing account management role
  • Past experience working with US-based companies
  • Past experience working with technical teams
  • Proven track-record growing existing accounts
  • Customer-first mindset
  • Superior English (C2 Proficiency)
  • Focus on attention to detail
  • Great oral and written communication
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Keen ability to anticipate client needs and identify both risks and opportunities
  • Self-starter
  • Awesome time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously
  • Positive, solutions-oriented attitude
  • Open to non-traditional work hours (i.e. 12PM - 8PM)

Bonus points if you have:

  • Prior experience working with distributed teams
  • Prior experience working at or with a development firm or similar agency
